This year's London Film Festival (at which I'm hoping to get to at least 12 films) opens on October 13th, and in advance of the announcement of the full programme on September 8th (full coverage here at 24FPS) the opening film has now been confirmed. Unsurprisingly it is something of a British affair, toplining new Spider-Man Andrew Garfield, rising star Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley, Mark Romanek's adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's acclaimed novel
Never Let Me Go will open the festival as a European premiere, in advance of a UK opening in January.
Stay tuned for MUCH more LFF coverage
