Cannes gets a cool poster for 2010 The line up isn't out yet (I'll have a detailed preview when it is) but here's the poster for this year's Cannes Film Festival. For me, this just bleeds cool.
The festival opens on May 12th, with the world premiere of Ridley Scott's Robin Hood
I think the ideas they are going for are "French" and "Unassailably cool" rather than "Sexy". Binoche is, of course, all three of these things, but the accent is definitely on those first two with this poster.
Shame that it doesn't show Juliette Binoche to advantage. She is beautiful - but you can't see that here.
