The Moral Maze, on BBC Radio 4, is a weekly debate programme, hosted by former newsreader Michael Buerk. Witnesses, each with a particular specialism and viewpoint regarding the subject to be debated, are questioned by a panel drawn from across the political spectrum. Tonight's show, being broadcast at 8pm UK time, and thereafter available to listen to at the address below for a week, should be of special interest to movie fans.
Spinning off the BBFC's recent, laudable, decision to pass Lars Von Trier's Antichrist uncut for adult audiences tonight's Moral Maze will ask whether censorship still has a place in a world so shaped by the internet, where so much media is available, globally, with the stroke of a few keys. The Moral Maze is a good series, and this should be a fascinating debate.
